Just purchased, not a savy tech person so set up was long and confusing. Lucky for me my very patient brother in law was on hand. Now that it's set up it seems easy to use and hopefully will be cost effective but it's only a few weeks old.

The printer is great and does everything the information stated if it is connected by standard systems. The wireless works for one to two days and the systems stop talking or shows no connection. That part is poor to say the least.
I am disappointed in that aspect.

I have bought many ink printers, and ink over the last 15 years. And every one will have problems from the color is horrible to you can't read . always cleaning the head and buying more ink. However this printer is awesome , it is clear EVERY time and works!!! And the toner lasts three or four times longer than pricy ink. Just to mention two sided paper is a breeze . Simply the BEST!!

This printer works as advertised. Fairly easy to set up after reading the manual, good print quality, and double sided scanning, printing, and faxing work great and the main reason I bought it. The 2740 didn't get a 5 star because when the printing starts make sure you are wearing ear plugs because of all the gear thrashing that it does.
